PART ONE : Rose City Mondial - Art Exhibition
July 8 (4pm-9pm) thru August, 2026 — L’Atelier Yaffe Gallery
Location: 111 NE MLK Jr. Blvd., Portland
Rose City Mondial is a multidisciplinary art exhibition exploring football as a cultural language that connects communities across Portland and around the world. Through photography, painting, and visual storytelling, the exhibition captures moments where movement, memory, belonging, and self-expression converge both on and off the field.
Moving between artist studios, grassroots pitches, and professional environments, the work reflects Portland's evolving relationship with the world's game and the communities it continues to shape. Presented by Portland Plays Together in partnership with Hopscotch, and as part of Portland Arts Week's Art x Sports programming, Rose City Mondial offers a distinctly Portland perspective on football as a cultural, artistic, and social force.
Curated by George Fochive, the exhibition features work by Kyra Watkins, Shade Pratt, Eliud Herrejon, Cesar Rodriguez, Evan Taylor, and Baptiste Carin.
Mediums: Photography, Acrylic, and Oil on Canvas
